Official Bio

Fiona Murden (MA MSc CPychol AFBPsS) is an organisational psychologist. She has spent the past two decades working with leaders and prominent people from across industries translating cutting edge research and applying it to real world scenarios. Her work not only unlocks potential, but also builds positive social ecosystems enabling emotional resilience, D,E&I and flourishing environments. Fiona founded her business Aroka Ltd in 2007 and has since worked with global companies such as Burberry, Soho House, Lloyd’s of London and BP.

She is author of Defining You and Mirror Thinking. Defining You won Self-Development Book of the Year at the Business Book Awards (UK) and silver in the Axiom Business Book Awards in the USA. Mirror thinking has been translated into Japanese, Russian and Mandarin and both are sold across the globe. She is also the host of the weekly podcast Dot-to-Dot Behind the Person.

She regularly speaks to students of Behavioural Science at London School of Economics . She has also spoken at a variety of other organisations and events including the Royal College of Surgeons, the American Museum of Natural History, McKinsey & Co., Red Magazine Smart Women’s Week, NHS conferences, teaching conferences and Nomura.

Fiona lives near London, England, with her husband, Chris and two daughters Libby & Polly.
